December is going to be a jam-packed month for the UFC, with 4 events taking place in the final 5 weeks of 2012. The month starts off with the season finale of The Ultimate Fighter and ends with the expected mega-card on the 29th in Las Vegas. Sandwiched in-between those events are UFC on FOX 5 and UFC on FX 6. Today locations for both of those cards were made. UFC Tonight made an official announcement for where UFC on FOX 5 would be held, and it will be in the Pacific Northwest.

#Breaking:@ufconfox 5 will take place at the Key Arena in Seattle, WA on December 8th.
It's the 2nd time that the UFC has gone to Seattle, with UFC Fight Night: Davis vs. Nogueira being the other back in March 2011. That particular card was a massive financial success and is the highest grossing Fight Night card in UFC history. Crowd support was great the last time and it will only get better with this fantastic card featuring the title fight between Ben Henderson and Nate Diaz coupled with B.J. Penn vs. Rory MacDonald and Mauricio Rua vs. Alexander Gustafsson. There is plenty of local interest as Henderson grew up and went to high school in Federal Way, which is just south of Seattle.
But that's not all! The final FX event of 2012 sees a rare non-PPV or TUF Finale card in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. (Via MMA Junkie)
The UFC could be returning to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas for the first time in more than six years.
Sources close to the event today told MMAjunkie.com that UFC on FX 6 is targeted for Dec. 15.
While the Hard Rock has seldom been used for UFC cards, it was a regular venue for the WEC, and while no fights have been confirmed or obviously rumored, it would border on nostalgic to see WEC veterans Donald Cerrone and Anthony Pettis headline this card in a five-rounder to decide the #1 contender at 155 lbs. If there's anything that is interesting from this particular announcement is that both the TUF Finale and FX 6 are targeted for Saturday instead of the normal Friday timeslot.
