Jon Jones vs. Chael Sonnen wasn't the only interesting 'twitter beef' that happened in the past few hours.
Following this past weekend's Strikeforce event which featured a main event between Ronda Rousey and Sarah Kaufman, the California-based head coach, Cesar Gracie, sent out this interesting tweet taking shots at another famous MMA camp:
Cali sends a certain team from New Mexico home winless tonight at 0-3. Dancing with the stars don't cut it here
— Cesar Gracie (@CesarGracieBJJ) August 19, 2012
He of course is referring to Greg Jackson's team in New Mexico who had Sarah Kaufman, Derek Brunson, and Julie Kedzie all suffer stoppage losses at the Strikeforce event.
After the jump, check out the comeback from the Jackson's camp.
In a reply to Cesar Gracie, here's a tweet from the official twitter page of Greg Jackson's MMA camp:
There was some confusion that we went 0-3 lst night.Bad night at work, but for those of u that can't count
— Jackson's MMA (@JacksonsMMA) August 20, 2012@adlanamgov did get a win#math
Not exactly a Sonnen-esque comeback, but for what it's worth, Jackson's was in fact 1-3 that night as one of their guys, Adlan Amagov, won by TKO in the prelims.
