The odds for the first three UFC on Fox 5 fights came out pretty quickly, and I have to say that I'm surprised at two of them. Ben Henderson was coming off a close fight with Frankie Edgar at UFC 150, yet still opened at an amazingly imbalanced -340. Gamblers quickly jumped on that and the line has been bet down a lot already. Here are the current odds:
In addition to that, uber-prospect Alexander Gustafsson opened as a favorite over former UFC light heavyweight champion Mauricio Rua, sitting at -145 right now:
Finally, Rory MacDonald is a big favorite over B.J. Penn. This isn't exactly surprising.
It should be noted that only one site is offering lines on these three fights right now (Sportsbook), and these BestFightOdds widgets offer the best possible lines on each side. When more sites drop lines, these numbers will bounce around a bit before settling down. Either way though, if you're a Nate Diaz or Shogun fan, the lines are still pretty juicy right now.
