Presswire

UFC Light Heavyweight Forrest Griffin spoke to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani after the bout and attempted to explain his behavior post-fight after beating Tito Ortiz at UFC 148. According to Griffin, who fled the ring before the decision was announced, UFC president Dana White told him to get "the eff back in the cage" to hear the judge's decision.

The UFC tweeted this quote from Dana about the incident:

Afterwards the official UFC twitter account said that Forrest also apologized for stealing the mic from Joe Rogan and interviewing Ortiz:

Griffin has fled the cage in the past including after his notorious UFC 101 loss to Anderson Silva. He also cried in the cage after losing to Keith Jardine in 2006.
