This post will cover live results and thoughts for the PPV main card.

The night's main event is a huge rematch between Anderson Silva and arch-rival Chael Sonnen for Silva's middleweight title. Forrest Griffin and Tito Ortiz meet for a third time in the co-main event. Cung Le looks to rebound against former title challenger Patrick Cote. Dong Hyun Kim and Demian Maia meet in Maia's first fight at welterweight. Chad Mendes takes on Cody McKenzie and Ivan Menjivar battles Mike Easton to round out the PPV card.

Make sure to come back during the event and share your thoughts as the event goes down.

Mike Easton vs. Ivan Menjivar - Round 1 - Menjivar with a right hand, and another and he gets out quickly before Easton can land in return. Head kick by Easton is barely blocked. Menjivar with the same shot in return. Head kick by Menjivar is blocked and then he spins and throws two spinning back kicks to the leg. Leg kick by Easton and then Menjivar slips a few punches. They trade punches in a flurry. Good round. 10-9 Menjivar

Round 2 - Menjivar keeps going with the spinning leg kick. Easton landing leg kicks of his own. Easton with a nice left hand that lands and Menjivar with the spinning leg kick again. Easton is coming forward, Menjivar is trying to pick him off with leg kicks and occasional punches. Head kick by Menjivar and a right hand. Menjivar digs in with a good body shot. Another hard round to call but I guess I'd give it to Menjivar.

Round 3 - They trade punches and Easton gets in with a better left hand. Same thing again. Leg kick by Easton. Good body shot by Easton and this is a really good round for him. Spinning backfist by Menjivar is blocked. Spinning kick by Menjivar is ducked under by Easton and Easton gets the takedown. This fight went from interesting in round 1 to pretty boring by round 3. It's a shame as we've yet to have a decent fight on the card.

Official Scorecards: 30-27, 29-28, 30-27 Mike Easton wins by unanimous decision.

Chad Mendes vs. Cody McKenzie - Round 1 - Mendes with a good knee and a punch right away. McKenzie gets caught with a punch to the body, goes down, eats a bunch more punches and it's over. Chad Mendes wins by TKO (strikes), 0:31 of round 1.

Dong Hyun Kim vs. Demian Maia - Round 1 - Maia looks for the takedown and Kim fires elbows into the side of his head over and over. Maia turns and takes Kim's back standing. Maia does manage to get the takedown, and ends up in mount and Kim quits immediately. It looks like he hurt his ribs. Demian Maia wins by submission (injury), round 1.

Cung Le vs. Patrick Cote - Round 1 - Cote with a kick to the body, Le catches it and sweeps to other leg and backs off. Cote throws a right that just misses. Body kick lands for Le. Le seems pretty focused on the body and Cote hasn't quite gotten distance figured out yet. Cote fires back a body kick of his own. Cote with a nice combo and Le fires a right hand of his own. Le with the body kick again and then a right hand. 10-9 Le.

Round 2- Le still looks in control early and just misses the mark with a wheel kick. Cote with a nice combination and now Le tries to cut it off with a right hand. Le is cut from a punch. Hard right by Le. Cote is bleeding from the side of his head. Hard right hand by Le. Hard spinning kick by Le. Another hard right by Le. Cote with a flurry and mixes in a leg kick. Body kcik and a punch by Le. Big right hand by Le and Cote tries for a clinch. Cote to the body in the clinch. 10-9 Le, but close round.

Round 3 - Head kick by Le is just blocked. Accidental low blow by Le and Cote says he's fine. They clinch up now and Cote pushes him to the cage. Cote ends up looking for a takedown with about two minutes left and Cung keeps his balance on one leg and doesn't go down. Right hand by Le, and another. Cote tries to come on with a flurry at about the one minute mark and Cung Le with a big takedown. Le should get an easy decision win here.

Official Scorecards: 30-27 across the board. Cung Le wins by unanimous decision.

Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz - Round 1 - Griffin throwing a few leg kicks and Tito lands a right hand. Grifin with a few punches and Tito scores a takedown. Huge elbow by Tito. Nice right hand by Tito now. Forrest gets to his feet. They trade some fairly heavy punches in the middle of the octagon. Now they trade head kicks. Forrest starting to take over the stand-up a bit now. Tito is looking slower and more lost as we approach one minute left. Tito with a takedown at the end of the round, but not enough for me. 10-9 Forrest.

Round 2 - Tito lands a big right hand and Forrest lands a big right of his own. Forrest recovers now and lands a hard leg kick and a hard jab. They're really giving it a go and it's sloppy and all that, but the crowd is into it. Forrest firing off a nice combination now and Tito has regressed back to reaching for single punches again. Big right by Forrest. Tito looks exhausted. 10-9 Griffin.

Round 3 - Griffin comes out and lands a hard leg kick. Forrest is punching, Tito is slowly walking around. Forrest just doing whatever the hell he wants. As I type that, Tito blasts him and Forrest rolls backward on the ground but pops right back up. He tries to come forward and Tito takes him down. Tito hasn't really landed much on top here. Forrest does manage to get up without taking any real damage. Forrest with some punches to the body and now a knee. Forrest took the fight back over once they were to the feet. They close out the fight throwing some hard shots. Should be an easy win for Griffin but he's leaving the cage and walking to the back. I assume he's trying to let Tito have his moment, but Dana chases him down and brings him back.

Official Scorecards: 29-28 across the board. Forrest Griffin wins by unanimous decision.

UFC Middleweight Championship: Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen - Round 1 - Silva comes out firing punches and Sonnen just quickly takes him down. Sonnen firing punches to the body and Silva was looking to get his legs up for a traingle for a moment. Anderson using butterflies to try to keep him off balance. Sonnen passes to half guard. Sonnen working some knees to the body and palm strikes to the head. Chael looked like he wanted to lock up an arm and then misses a big punch. Sonnen with a series of hard right hands. Sonnen grinding away with punches and elbows still and now moves to full mount with a little under a minute left. Sonnen just dominated this round. DOMINATED. 10-8 Sonnen

Round 2 - Sonnen pushing Silva to the cage now and throwing some knees to the body while Silva holds on. Sonnen drops down looking for the takedown, it's not there so he comes up. Sonnen with a few punches and Silva tags him a few times. Silva trying to get cocky and Silva with a huge illegal knee after Sonnen slipped to the ground. Chael got up eventually and then Silva dropped him again. That looked like an illegal knee that started it all, replay is needed here. Actually, the replay makes the knee look legal. So...there ya go. Anderson Silva wins by TKO (strikes), round 2.
