Guys like Forrest Griffin and Miguel Torres have gotten into trouble in the past for making unfortunate jokes on twitter. Some of these insensitive comments have even led the UFC's blue chip sponsor, Anheuser-Busch to warn the promotion that they will take action if these deeds continue.
Zuffa of course has almost 500 fighters under contract, and they are all encouraged to embrace the online social media outlets. While most of those fighters don't cause them any problems, there are a few occasional guys who are teetering across that fine line. Another example of that, Yves Edwards, a veteran of 60 fights, who recently tweeted about drugs and prostitution:
