TUF 15 veteran Daron Cruickshank got his second fight in the UFC tonight against Henry Martinez. Daron was kicked out of the TUF tourney when he got knocked out by eventual winner Michael Chiesa. He recovered well on the finale event with a decision win over fellow house member Chris Tickle. Martinez made his UFC debut with a split decision loss to Matt Riddle at UFC 143. After that he dropped to Lightweight and picked up a win over Bernardo Magalhaes. He missed weight for tonight's fight coming in at 158.8.

Both Martinez and Cruickshank come out swinging before Martinez wraps up and pushes Daron against the fence. They separate and go right back to trading leather. Martinez clinches against the cage again. Another crazy flurry and Cruickshank opens up a cut on Henry's forehead. Cruickshank lands a powerful body kick and Martinez is badly hurt. Daron follows up with kicks and punches but Martinez was able to recover. Great action so far. Another big hit by Cruickshank but he couldn't put Martinez away.

Martinez tried to clinch up again early in the second, but Daron is able to reverse and land a few shots. Cruickshank looks like he slowed down but still winning the striking from range. HUGE head kick from Cruickshank and Martinez is out! Daron Cruickshank knocked out Henry Martinez in the second round (2:57).
