Yet another injury has impacted UFC 155. The co-main event of Forrest Griffin vs. Phil Davis is now without Forrest Griffin, as UFC President Dana White confirmed today on Twitter that Griffin suffered an MCL tear and ACL strain.
Forrest Has MCL tear and ACL strain. 20 cc's of blood removed from his knee and the saga continues at the UFC!!

No word on a replacement yet for Forrest (if at all), and he's the latest UFC 155 fighter to withdraw from the card. Chris Weidman and Gray Maynard have already pulled out, and even the original fight of Forrest Griffin vs. Chael Sonnen was swapped once Sonnen was awarded the next title shot against Jon Jones.
There are now only two fights on the current main card that have not been affected by injuries, and they are the main event of Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez and Alan Belcher vs. Yushin Okami.
It just won't stop, will it? Traditionally the UFC promotes a strong PPV to close out the calendar year, but it's hard to do it when the injuries keep piling up.
