UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva was the first of 3 UFC fighters to be sponsored by Nike. He got that spot by being one of the most impressive fighters in the sport's history. He's successfully defended his title 10 times since taking it from Rich Franklin back in 2006. He's undefeated in his 16 UFC fights with arguably the most impressive knockout reel in the company.
Nike also sponsors Light Heavyweight champ Jon Jones and Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos. Jones inked his sponsorship deal after systematically dismantling the top of the 205 lb. division. He's currently coaching TUF 17 and will defend his title against opposing coach Chael Sonnen in April. Dos Santos is the most recent addition to the Nike team. He picked up his first title defense with a 2nd round knock out of Frank Mir at UFC 146. He'll rematch the man he took the belt from at UFC 155 when he fights Cain Velasquez.
