UFC on FOX 5: Tim Means vs. Abel Trujillo promoted to FX broadcast

Following two fight cancellations, the UFC on FOX 5 preliminary card has a new bout order for FX, and just one fight on the Facebook stream.

There will be no replacement fighter for Michael Chiesa against Marcus LeVesseur, meaning there are 7 preliminary card fights at UFC on FOX 5 instead of the planned 9. This means it's time to reshuffle the lineup yet again, and two lightweights benefit from it. Tim Means (18-3-1 MMA, 2-0 UFC) vs. Abel Trujillo (9-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC), originally scheduled to stream on Facebook, has been elevated to FX status according to MMA Junkie.

Means showed off impressive striking, knocking out Justin Salas at UFC on FX 3 in June. Trujillo is finally making his UFC debut after this same matchup was pushed back due to UFC 151's cancellation.

This means that Scott Jorgensen vs. John Albert is the sole fight streaming on Facebook, and that will air at 4:30 PM ET/1:30 PM PT.

Yves Edwards vs. Jeremy Stephens is now the headlining fight of the FX broadcast, and I'm sure that the UFC will do a sterling, honest job of explaining to a national audience why this bout didn't take place in October like originally planned.
