Just hours before the UFC 155 weigh-ins, MMA Junkie has confirmed that Mike Goldberg will not be commentating tomorrow's PPV event due to illness. Instead former Jon Anik, who's been in the booth for UFC On FUEL TV events, will be joining Joe Rogan to call the action. This is the first time Rogan and Anik have been teamed up since Jon joined the UFC team.
UFC 155 goes down tomorrow December 29 in the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. In the main event, Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos will try to defend his against Cain Velasquez. Lightweights Jim Miller and Joe Lauzon will square off for the co-main event.
UPDATE: Apparently, Goldberg isn't out for illness. Very interested on what Dana has to say on not knowing when he'll come back.
Quick update to Anik-Goldberg story. Turns out Goldie is not ill but instead "taking time off." @danawhite uncertain when he'll return.
