UFC light heavyweight makes it known that he'd like to fight on the UFC 157 card in Anaheim, and gives a wish list of sorts for possible opponents.

This past Friday night, at the finale of TUF Smashes in Australia, Joey Beltran showed a much more technical side of his fight game. He won impressively, and didn't have to sacrifice his face to do it against the super tough Igor Pokrajac. In fact, he sustained so little damage, that he's already chomping at the bit to get back in the octagon on February 26th for the UFC 157 card in Anaheim, CA.

The only person that I really would like to fight is Thiago Silva, but he's suspended right now. It's kind of like a half-assed call out, even though I don't mean for it to be. I would love to fight him for the disrespect that he showed teammate, Brandon Vera. I also think that would be a badass scrap. Like I said, he's suspended, so that ain't gonna happen any time soon.

At this point, I don't care who I fight, but I want to be on that Anaheim card in February. I know it's a quick turn around, but I don't have a scratch on me. I'm ready to rock and I want to fight on that show.

As evidenced in the past, if a fighter is vocal enough, fights get made. Dana White and Joe Silva have often told their fighters that if they want a particular match-up to be made, to let them know, and they';d work towards making it happen. I asked Joey if he wanted to call someone out, to raise the odds of getting himself on the card.

I'll fight Ronda Rousey right now [laughs]. I would have to go on the website, because I don't even know who's available. Is Maldonado available? I think that would be a great fight. Forrest Griffin, meet me in Anaheim. You heard it here first [laughs]. Meet me in Anaheim, brother! Honestly, I'll have to figure something out. It's only two months away, but I'm ready right now. I'll be ready to rock.

Hopefully, Joey gets his wish, and a match will be made, especially since the card takes place so close to his home. Keep your fingers crossed for one of the nicest guys in the sport.
