In a move that should come as a surprise to approximately no one, linemakers have set UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey as a massive favorite going into her fight against Liz Carmouche at UFC 157 on February 23rd. Rousey, who was crowned champion by Dana White last week, and her first defense will come in the main event of the Anaheim PPV. Here's the line, via BestFightOdds:
Only three books are offering lines so far, but one has Rousey as high as -1200. It was a bit surprising that Carmouche got the shot over names like former Olympian Sara McMann and Miesha Tate, and the line reflects that. Honestly, this isn't worth playing on either side. Rousey's likely going to tear through Carmouche quickly, but laying the chalk doesn't make much sense here.
