UFC on Fuel results: Danzig, Gomi, Le, and Silva all pick up $40k bonuses

The bonuses are out for UFC on Fuel 6: Franklin vs. Le, and this is probably as easy a choice as they'll get all year. There was only one knockout and one submission and everything else went the distance. Fight of the Night belonged to Takanori Gomi and Mac Danzig, which saw The Fireball Kid earn a split decision win.

And now a breakdown of post-fight bonus history for each recipient:

• This is Gomi's 2nd post-fight bonus, with his other a memorable KOTN win against Tyson Griffin.
• Danzig has received FOTN honors 3 times, but he's now 0-3 in those fights (vs. Gomi, Matt Wiman, and Josh Neer).
• Thiago Silva's only other submission win in the UFC was actually a strikes stoppage vs. Antonio Mendes. This marks his first SOTN win.
• Cung Le has fought just 3 times in the UFC but he's picked up a bonus in 2 of them. The KO against Rich Franklin is now added to his FOTN with Wanderlei Silva.
