Jon Jones says he'll probably head to Heavyweight in 2013

Many MMA fans have ridiculed Jon Jones saying he's taking advantage of his size advantage at Light Heavyweight. Jones responds with a timeline for his move to Heavyweight.

Since Light Heavyweight champion Jon Jones took the belt from Mauricio Rua at UFC 128, one of his biggest criticisms has been that his size is an unfair advantage. Even at only 6'4", Jones enjoys the most incredible reach advantage in the UFC, tieing only 6'11" heavyweight Stefan Struve at 84.5".

Because of his overwhelming size advantage fans have been clamoring for his movie to the Heavyweight division. Last night on the UFC live chat, Bones addressed this question (transcribed by MMA Mania):

I'll definitely move up to heavyweight But it'll probably be around 2013. Maybe at the end of 2013. Right now I have a nutritionist and I'm starting to take the career a lot more serious than I used to so my weight cuts are getting a lot easier. I walk around a lot thinner naturally so right now I'm about 225, a 20 pound weight cut. That's really easy. I might look bigger than everyone else I'm fighting but I'm really not.

Considering other 205er's like Rampage Jackson and Forrest Griffin walk around between 240-250 lbs, I'd say the weight cut is getting harder than Jones lets on. In comparison with them, his weight cut would seem less significant. Since Jones is already considering the move in such a short time frame, It's fair to speculate that his weight cut has become increasingly difficult.

Assuming he changes divisions as scheduled, what's your dream match for him?
