A stacked UFC 155 card got even more stacked with the addition of two potentially explosive bantamweight fights. One bout is between contenders, the other between prospects. Here's what UFC.com had to say about them:
Plus, England's Brad Pickett, fresh from back-to-back finishes of Damacio Page and Yves Jabouin, will get another tough test in former WEC bantamweight boss Eddie Wineland, and up and comers at 135, Erik Perez and Byron Bloodworth, meet in a preliminary matchup.
Pickett (22-6) has picked up performance bonuses in all three of his UFC fights thus far, taking home an extra $160,000 dollars. He rebounded from a loss to Renan Barao in his debut with the two wins mentioned above. Wineland (16-8-1), a former WEC bantamweight champion, broke a two-fight losing streak with a solid knockout win over Scott Jorgensen at UFC on FX 3 in June.
Perez (12-4) is 2-0 in the UFC, and picked up the fastest knockout in UFC/WEC bantamweight history by knocking out Ken Stone in 17 seconds in his last bout. Bloodworth (6-2) was finished by Mike Easton in his UFC debut, and will look for his first win against the Mexican fighter.
Both fights are expected to take place on the preliminary portion of the event.. Here's a look at the current card:
