UFC Heavyweight Alistair Overeem has been unable to get a license to fight since failing a surprise urine test administered by the Nevada State Athletic Commission in March. He had been scheduled for a shot at champ Junior dos Santos' title at UFC 146 but that opportunity went to Frank Mir instead.
Overeem appealed the NSAC's ruling but got nowhere. Now he's cooling his heels and awaiting his return to action. UFC president Dana White has said he'll get an immediate title shot against the winner of UFC 155's Junior dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez rematch which takes place on December 29.
Overeem has moved to Florida's Blackzilians training camp after leaving his long-time home of Golden Glory in Holland.
