Anderson Silva and Stephan Bonnar stepped into the cage at UFC 153 with the oddsmakers feeling that the outcome was decided the moment the matchup was announced. In the end, it turned out they were correct.
Silva toyed with Bonnar before deciding to take advantage of an opening and kneeing the fight out of his foe and finishing him off with a flurry of punches.

Anderson Silva vs. Stephan Bonnar - Round 1 - Bonnar charges forward and he's inside and has Silva against the cage. Bonnar kneeing to the thigh. Bonnar holding him against the cage still. Left hands by Bonnar and Silva with a quick knee to the body. Bonnar trying to get him down and he has double underhooks against the cage. Bonnar punches to the bod and lands an elbow and some short punches. Silva still pinned against the cage. Silva turns Bonnar now. BOnnar pushing him back into the cage. They trade punches and Silva lands a few. Silva leans against the cage and pops Bonnar when he tries to punch. Bonnar comes inside and clinches him again. Silva reassures his corner and Bonnar tries for a single leg. Silva with a hard short punch. Bonnar lands two stiff shots, Silva eats them very well. Bonnar to the body, Silva lands counters. Silva has Bonnar down and as Bonnar stands, Silva lands a crushing knee and Bonnar is down. Silva on top of him landing shots and it's over. Good god, Anderson Silva is something else.
