We might be getting the UFC on Fox soon, but the deal with Spike isn't over yet. Spike will air the customary two preliminary fights for UFC 137 according to the network. They are also airing prelims for this weekend's UFC 134 event, and UFC 135 and UFC 136 as well. UFC 137 will be the eleventh prelims show Spike has aired in 2011 so far, and they are contracted to show twelve. It will be interesting to see whether they pick UFC 139 or UFC 140 to air (UFC 138's entire main card is airing on Spike already due to the card taking place in England), and what other outlet will be used for the card that doesn't get selected.
There has been no word on what two fights from the card will be shown in the Spike slot, but it should be interesting to see what they pick. Here's a rundown of the fights that have been announced for the card so far, which goes down October 29th in Las Vegas, NV:
Georges St. Pierre vs. Nick Diaz (UFC Welterweight Title)
Carlos Condit vs. B.J. Penn
Cheick Kongo vs. Matt Mitrione
Mirko Filipovic vs. Roy Nelson
Dennis Siver vs. Sam Stout
Hatsu Hioki vs. George Roop
Eliot Marshall vs. Brandon Vera
Tyson Griffin vs. Bart Palaszewski
Tim Credeur vs. Brad Tavares
Jeff Curran vs. Scott Jorgensen
Danny Downes vs. Ramsey Nijem
