The Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission released their list of medical suspensions from UFC on Versus 4 this past Sunday, and the list wasn't very long. Just five fighters were issued suspensions, with one surprising name being left off the list beause he's apparently okay (somehow). The list of fighters and the length of their suspension is as follows:
Pat Barry - 60 days
Christian Morecraft - 60 days
Nik Lentz - 60 days
Matt Grice - 45 days
Edward Faaloloto - 30 days
Everyone except for Nik Lentz received their suspensions due to the fact that they were knocked out in their respective fights. Barry must gain neurological clearance before his suspension is lifted. Nik Lentz, who had surgery on his right orbital bone after the fight on Sunday, received the same suspension as the two main carders that were knocked out.
One fighter who most expected would make the list was Curt Warburton. Joe Lauzon finished Warburton with a kimura that appeared to have Warburton in a lot of pain right after the fight, but he mentioned yesterday on twitter that his shoulder was okay. That's very good news for him.
