It didn't take long. Tim Kennedy took Trevor Prangley down and out in the first round.
The highly touted former soldier Tim Kennedy clashed with powerful South African wrestler Trevor Prangley at Strikeforce: Los Angeles.
Prangley took Kennedy down twice early in the round -- once with a nice hip toss. But Kennedy jack-in-the-boxed right back to his feet quickly. Then he took Prangley down and quickly took mount. From there he battered Prangley and threatened with a number of attacks before choking the South African out.
Tim Kennedy will definitely be in the Strikeforce middleweight title picture, especially if there is a tournament to replace champion Jake Shields. Kennedy has vowed to "wreck everyone I run into."
