Jim Miller shocked Charles Oliveira by attacking his leg and submitting him with a vicious knee bar in the first round at UFC 124.
Oliveira cames out firing high kicks and shooting in for take downs. Miller stuffed the take down and shot in for a successful one of his own. Oliveira immediately worked for arm bars and triangles. Then he want after Miller's leg. Miller then locked in a knee bar and forced the tap.
The fight had big implications for the lightweight division as it pitted the veteran Miller, 7-1 in the UFC with his only loss to #3 ranked Gray Maynard, against the red-hot Oliveira, 2-0 in the UFC, 14-0 overall.
