This past Sunday on MMA Nation on 106.7 The Fan, we covered all of the results from UFC 121: Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez. Whether it was the demise of former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Oritz or the meaning of Cain Velasquez's heritage or the future of Brock Lesnar, every topic was covered. Thanks to all of the callers with their great comments and questions. Here's how the show broke down by segment.

We opened the show by recapping what happened with the main event between Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez. We discussed how the loss happened, how it appeared and what was next for both fighters.

In the second segment we caught up with ESPN's MMA Live host Jon Anik. Anik was live on the scene at UFC 121 and gave us eye witness reports from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. He also spoke about the pre- and post-fight shows MMA Live conducted as well as his discussions with UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, UFC President Dana White and others.

In the third segment we went back to the listener calls about the main event, but also about Jake Shields' dismal performance and the weird strategy of Martin Kampmann.

We then spoke to Rocky Rivero, a Producer of EA Sports MMA, the new MMA video game from Electronic Arts. Rivero answered questions about the game's sales projections, differences with THQ's UFC Undisputed and whether or not EA is committed to MMA.

We ended the show with a long segment explaining and defending the UFC's decision to market Cain Velasquez's Mexican-American heritage. Worth a listen.

We air Sundays on 106.7 The Fan from 9 to 11pm ET, but there are several ways to listen to us. Be sure to spread the word about the show if you like it. "Like" us on Facebook. Thanks for listening. See you Sunday.
