A Plea from Fightlinker: More MMA for Everyone!

Our civic-minded pal Fightlinker has launched a citizens campaign to get SpikeTV to air more fights during the next fight night. Help out everybody, if we succeed, everybody wins.

As you may or may not know, I'm in the middle of trying to get as many people as possible to email SpikeTV asking them to make the UFC Fight Night in Colorado a 3 hour show instead of 2 hours. The UFC has already stated that they've offered this and it's up to Spike to decide if they'll show 2 or 3 hours. I've already got a lot of support from site readers as well as forum people but I figure if we really want to bury Spike in requests, then we need your help!

If you can post about the effort going on at the moment and include a form email for your readers to send, that would be very much appreciated. You know I'm not the kind of guy to normally spam my contacts but this is a cheaper alternative to flying out to Colorado and I think it'd be a great way to show Spike that there's a HUGE demand for longer Ultimate Fight Nights.

Anyways, here's the form letter:

SUBJECT: UFC Fight Night on April 2nd

Hi
I'm writing to ask that the UFC Fight Night on April 2nd be given three hours of time instead of two. The card is one of the best UFC cards ever put on Spike, and it deserves a longer timeslot. The entire fight community is looking forward to seeing this event, and I am sure you'll have a significantly higher number of viewers if you decide to show more of the card.

Thank you for your time

And as long as I'm talking about Fightlinker, he's put together some distressing news that could be really really bad for the UFC.
