Edgar revealed that he anticipates a wrestling war between the two. He also said that he believes he could get to showcase his jiu-jitsu skills, as he anticipates ending up on his back vs. Maynard.
The New Jersey-native plans to spend some time in California training for the fight and will work with Dave Camirillo at the American Kickboxing Academy in March.
Good on Edgar to really develop the weaker part of his game. I tend to think Edgar's going to make the takedowns difficult for Maynard and in the interim, Maynard will be eating crisp punches from Edgar's really underrated boxing.
