When I was in school the worst we had to worry about was wrestlers and football players and the occasional golden gloves boxer.
Kids today have to worry about getting Omaplata'd. Oh well as long as the kids aren't studying mma business practices too...
Mangilao's George Washington High School principal Begona Flores spoke with the some of the 587 new freshmen faces about school policies and discipline yesterday. If you remember last spring, some GW students were partaking in organized mixed martial arts- style fights on school grounds, but Principal Flores says she's working to ensure those types of things don't happen during the new school year.
