What We're Getting Instead of Griffin vs. Machida

A lot of UFC fans were disappointed when Forrest Griffin had to drop out of his scheduled UFC 70 bout with undefeated Brazilian Karate stylist Ryoto Machida.

That looked to be an exciting bout with Griffin's brawling style going up against Machida's unorthodox striking. Machida beat both Forrest's TUF rival Stephan Bonnar and Rich Franklin in 2003.

Instead the UFC will bring in undefeated David Heath -- best known for getting a sub on Sean Salmon. This is a huge break for Heath.

Personally I think Heath, a beefy grappler looks like a tougher match up for Machida.
