The Snowman wins again

Most newcomers to MMA know Jeff Monson through the UFC.  They are aware his groundgame is pretty sick, but what they don't know is that the guy competes nearly year-round at submission wrestling tourneys.

Not only that, but he usually wins them.  Yesterday in London Jeff did what he does best. Peep this:

Yesterday in London, England Jeff competed in the 10k Ground Clash. This was a 32-man submission tournament winner take all with approx. $19,000 at stake!

In his first match, Jeff submitted Tom Blackledgewith his "famous" north/south choke.

2nd match Jeff defeated Vincent Parisi by rear naked choke.

3rd match Jeff won by judges decision over Leo Negao (0-0)

In the finals, Jeff defeated highly regarded Braulio Estima by a score of 3-0.

Congratulations to Jeff on another tournamernt victory.

Jeff will be keep up his hectic schedule of competing with his upcoming match on April 14th.
Jeff will compete in bodogFights in Russia, and then he will set his sights on winning  the prestigous ADCC Submission Tournament held in May. Jeff is a 2x ADCC (99k/over) winner hoping to repeat his performance from '05.

Physically I don't know how the guy does it, but man alive, is that impressive or what?
