I was vaguely aware that the American Gladiators television show was being revived. The show is set to debut in January, 2008 on NBC. What the hell does this have to do with MMA? Well nothing until I was pointed to the American Gladiators blog by this Five Ounces Of Pain post.
Apparently the role of gladiator Crush will be played than none other than women's MMA fighter Gina Carano.
There was a time...2 minutes ago, that I would have told you that there was no way that I would be interested in watching a remake of American Gladiators.
I'm starting to have second thoughts now. I just may have to tune in to the debut episode.
