Sam Caplan's Interview with Monte Cox

For those who haven't read it, you're missing out. Big time. This is easily one of the best interviews I've ever read related to the inside business of mixed martial arts.

And it's sadly revealing, too. If you believe Monte Cox's version of events, the IFL is in serious trouble. According to Cox, they mistreat their premier fighters, employ strong arm tactics, look for back door deals, and either through ignorance or malfeasance can't seem to communicate the same message across it's members.

I'm having a little difficulty understanding why the interview isn't getting more play. The details revealed inside are nothing short of a bombshell. More importantly, if you believe there's a reason why the IFL has been slow to correct it's mistakes or improve more steadily, this interview has all the fuel to feed that fire.
