UFC on Fuel TV 5 fight night bonuses go to Struve, Miocic, Pickett and Wiman

Stefan Struve and Stipe Miocic won the $40,000 Fight of the Night bonus at UFC on Fuel TV 5: Struve vs. Miococ. Matt Wiman took the Submission of the Night honors and Brad Pickett got Knock Out of the Night.

The UFC announced its 40,000 Fight Night bonus winners following UFC on Fuel TV 5: Struve vs. Miocic in Nottingham, England.

The winners were as follows:

Struve and Miocic certainly earned their bonuses with a two round donnybrook that saw both men land heavy leather in multiple furious exchanges. The two heavyweights fought at a rapid clip more suited to a pair of welterweights.

Wiman came into the home turf of feared submission stylist Paul Sass and got the win by arm bar. Sass came into the bout undefeated with 12 of his 13 wins by submission. Wiman, a veteran of The Ultimate Fighter, took the submission fight right to Sass and wasn't afraid to scramble for position against the feared luta livre specialist. Wiman fended off heel hooks and omaplatas while going for triangle chokes and the final arm bar.

Pickett got his KO in a one round tussle with Yves Jabouin that ended when Pickett landed a shattering uppercut on the rangy Haitian.
