In the opening fight on the Facebook-streamed portion of UFC 163, Viscardi Andrade (16-5, 0-0 UFC) and Bristol Marunde (12-8, 0-1 UFC) will face off in a welterweight bout. Neither man is currently ranked in the official UFC rankings, which isn't very surprising because neither of them has a win in the UFC yet. The Facebook portion of UFC 163 kicks off at 6:30pm ET/3:30pm PT.
Andrade is making his UFC debut after a long run in Brazil, while Marunde is dropping to welterweight for the first time in his career. He lost his only UFC bout to date when he was knocked out by Clint Hester. He was a contestant on The Ultimate Fighter 15 as a middleweight.

How did these two get here?
Viscardi Andrade was is another member of the Brazilian pack to make his way to the UFC. He faced some tough challenges early in his career, dropping a few fights to current UFC fighters like Yuri Alcantara and Charles Oliveira. He has been on a five-fight winning streak since 2011 though, which earned him a spot on TUF Brazil 2. He made it to the semis, but dropped a decision to William Macario. This is his official UFC debut.
Bristol Marunde is one of the few non-Brazilians on the undercard. He came up in the Northwest scene, fighting the likes of Matt Horwich and Benji Radach early in his career in the IFL. Later on, winning 8 out of 9 earned him a spot in Strikeforce as a late replacement against Ronaldo Souza. He lost, but entered the UFC as a contestant on season 16 of the Ultimate Fighter. An injury postponed his official UFC debut until the TUF 17 Finale, where he lost to Clint Hester. He has now made the drop to welterweight in hopes of starting a run there.
Why should you care?
Honestly, I have no idea. It could be interesting, it could be horrible. Who knows.
