What have these two done recently?
How did these two get here?
Joe "J-Lau" Lauzon has been in the UFC for over six years now, and has constantly provided excitement. From his knockout of Jens Pulver at UFC 60 all the way to his submission of Jamie Varner earlier this year, his flashy style has earned him a total of 11 performance bonuses. Despite that, losses at the wrong time have halted his rise to the top. A win over Miller would see Lauzon finally enter the top 10.
Jim Miller has long been one of the toughest guys in the UFC 155-pound division. His only UFC losses have come to guys who have competed for or held the UFC lightweight title, and he has finished six of his ten UFC wins. His loss to Nate Diaz at UFC on Fox 3 was the first time was ever finished in a fight, and he'll look to rebound by picking up a win over Lauzon.
Why should you care?
Both of these guys are exciting fighters that always look for a finish. There's basically no way it could be boring.
