Both men are veterans of The Ultimate Fighter. Johnson was on the 12th season of the reality show and Jury managed to be on both the 13th and 15th seasons. Both fighters are bringing serious win streaks into UFC 155.

Johnson has been in the UFC since being the runner up to Jonathan Brookins in the 12th season of TUF. He trains out of the Springfield Fight Club, which is an affiliate of Gracie Barra based in Springfield, Missouri. He won KO of the Night at his last fight against Danny Castillo and is riding a 3 fight win streak for only the second time in his pro MMA career.
Jury was forced off the TUF cast due to injury early in the 13th season but got a do-over in season 15. He lost to finalist Al Iaquinta in the first round of the tournament but he won his official UFC debut.
