Former Shooto world champion, Mamoru Yamaguchi, was victorious this morning at "The Way of Shooto 6: Like a Tiger, Like a Dragon" as he brutally KO'd top 10 ranked, Fumihiro Kitahara, with a head kick in the first round. Also on the card, current Shooto 123 pd. champion, Yasuhiro Urushitani defeated Takuya Mori with a ground and pound assault TKO in the first round. This could possibly set up a rematch between Urushitani and Yamaguchi for the world championship in 2011. In the main event, Taiki Tsuchiya took a unanimous decision victory over Brazilian, Gustavo Falciroli, to defend the Shooto 143 pd. Pacific Rim championship. Full results can be viewed here.
