The fourth episode of the Stefan Struve series, AFAV will follow Stefan during his preparation on his fight at UFC 130. This episode contains interview footage of Stefan, his mom, Bob Schreiber & footage of a BJJ training with Remco Pardoel.
AFAV returns with their second episode in the series following Dutch mixed martial artist Stefan Struve as he prepares for his UFC 130 bout against Travis Browne. Perhaps the most intriguing aspect of this episode is its inclusion of film from Struve's recent sessions sparring with world-class kickboxer Daniel Ghita. As much of the footage shows Struve in training, it's only natural that viewers are properly introduced to trainer and retired mixed martial artist Bob Schrijber in this episode. There are a lot of interview segments with both Struve and Schrijber in the gym. These segments are particularly interesting when considered against the calls that some have made for Struve to part ways with Team Schrijber and train at a larger facility. The episode also gives viewers a sense of Struve's experience in the business of MMA a bit, as it touches on his management, clothing deals, and his promotional efforts for the UFC. As always, AFAV put together a great piece of work that highlights the fighter, his gym, his family, and situates it all in the Netherlands with segments showing life in the Dutch countryside. I would encourage visiting AFAV's official website and following them on Twitter.
A preview for AFAV's upcoming series which will follow Stefan Struve as he prepares for his bout against Travis Browne at UFC 130. If you're not familiar with AFAV's work, they operate out of the Netherlands and generally follow the domestic kickboxing scene there. Either way, their work always ends up being excellent and I'd expect this will follow suit. Promoted to the Front Page by Anton Tabuena
