I don't know which disappoints me the most. The fact that 2 days after the event, nobody on BE has posted about this or that I didn't hear my alarm and became engrossed in "The Return of the King" on saturday night.
Cage Warriors 47 took place on Saturday and no.3 ranked flyweight Aisling Daly took on 'unranked' former training partner Rosi Sexton. It was a typical Rosi Sexton fight, which means you should go watch it now.
As I mentioned, I missed most of the event but the two fights after this were worth watching. The featherweight contest was exciting but suffered a bit when Hill's striking turned into 1 left hook and see_it_from_a_mile 1-2's as soon as he got tagged - which happened immediately. The heavyweight fight was actually not bad for a non top-level hvwght bout. Nice head movement, walking through arm punches, active wrestling on the fence, some jiujitsu from a guy off his back.
