The BloodyElbow.com staff give their predictions for UFC 111: St. Pierre vs. Hardy. The event takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on March 27, 2010.
Like some of the more recent UFC events of the past, Spike TV will be featuring a live broadcast of two undercard battles within the UFC's welterweight division. There is also the possibility that some of the other preliminary action could make the broadcast as well, so make sure you tune in on Saturday night at 9:00 PM EST, one hour before the pay-per-view event, to watch these great battles.
The first bout scheduled to air on Spike TV is a welterweight contest between Matt “The Immortal” Brown (13-7) and Ricardo Almeida (11-3). The evening’s second televised bout is also in the welterweight division, and pits Rory Markham (16-5) against Nate Diaz (11-5).
UFC lightweight Nate Diaz will be moving up to welterweight to take on Rory Markham at UFC 111. Diaz hinted at the possible move following a difficult weight cut that preceded his recent decision loss to Gray Maynard.
