The BloodyElbow.com staff give their predictions for UFC 112: Invincible. The event takes place on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The headlining battle taking place on the UFC 112 undercard will feature the 2008 NCAA Division I national wrestling champion at 197 lbs. in Phil Davis battling Sweden's 6'5" "Mauler" Alexander Gustafsson. Davis successfully made his debut at UFC 109 by beating down Brian Stann over the course of three rounds while Gustafsson made a splash at UFC 105 with a 0:41 knockout of Jared Hamman.

Frankie Edgar, the #5 ranked lightweight in the world according to the USAT/SBN Consensus MMA Rankings risked his contender status against the dangerous but utterly unheralded Matt Veach at tonights Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale. But he passed the test with only a little trouble, winning by submission in the second round.

The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 Finale will also feature a couple of match-ups not related to the show in order to spotlight some of the UFC's other top assets. UFC lightweight veteran Frankie Edgar (10-1, 5-1 UFC) will get a chance to get a little more exposure as he takes on undefeated UFC prospect Matt Veach (11-0, 1-0 UFC).
