SATOSHI ISHII TO TRAIN WITH FEDOR EMELIANENKO AND GEGARD MOUSASI Japanese Olympic Judo Gold Medalist Satoshi Ishii will be spending some time preparing for his much-anticipated MMA debut with a man he once publicly challenged. M-1 Global sources informed www.M-1Global.com on Tuesday that Ishii will enlist the services of M-1 Global's Fedor Emelianenko leading up to his first-ever bout under the Sengoku banner. An exact date for Ishii's training sessions with Fedor have not been finalized, however, sources within M-1 Global indicated that Fedor will work with Ishii in Holland at Gegard Mousasi's brand new M-1 training facility in Amsterdam.

Aleksander Emelianenko is set to return to the ring in a superfight against Spirit MC and DEEP veteran Sang Soo Lee at M-1's November 21st "M-1 Challenge 9" show in Russia, according to a report from MMAFighting. The event will take place at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg, the scene of Emelianenko's last fight, a victory against Silvao Santos in April. Lee defeated Roman Zentsov via triangle choke on M-1's August card.
