Shamil Tinagadjiev (6-3) by unanimous decision on Thursday in the main event of M-1 Global's
Battle on the Neva 4 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The bout was the finals match for light-heavyweight division of M-1 Selection's Eastern European bracket; it had been previously rescheduled to allow both men to compete at M-1's July 14th event, which was attended by Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin.
