As expected, the lack of star power at World Victory Road's Sengoku Raiden Championships 15 produced some rather lackluster performances. Most notably, Olympic Judo silver medalist Hiroshi Izumi baffled fans with his propensity to strike with James Zikic in their main event showdown.

Also, former lightweight title contender Kazunori Yokota returns against Brian Cobb, and current lightweight title contender Maximo Blanco faces Kiuma Kunioku, a late replacement for the injured Leonardo Santos. On the undercard, it's the 2010 Welterweight Grand Prix semifinals and 2010 Asia Bantamweight quarterfinals.

A tentative card for Japanese MMA promotion DEEP's 10th Anniversary show in October has been released, and it features some mega names. Shinya Aoki, Ryo Chonan, Ikuhisa "Minowaman" Minowa, Katsunori Kikuno and many others are expected to participate.
