"I think I should have been given another fight. I had two back to back losses, but both were decisions, and I felt like I was the only one who actually 'fought' in both fights. I also feel that in both fights I was cheated out of 'Fight of the Night'. If either of those guys [Pellegrino and Tibau] actually fought, we could have made some money."

"Unfortunately Josh was matched up with fighters that wanted to take him down and lay on him to grind out a victory. If you are going to take Josh down then at least try to finish him, just don’t lay on him and hold him down. Most fighters are not going to want to stand and bang with Josh, and they just want to play it safe, hold him down, and get the win. Josh wants to put on exciting fights, and there is nothing more frustrating to Josh than not to put on an exciting fight for the fans."

The defeat was Neer’s second consecutive in the Octagon and his third in his last four fights."

Sherk Out Of UFC 104, Replaced By Neer: Josh Neer will replace an injured Sean Sherk in a lightweight bout against Gleison Tibau at UFC 104 on Oct. 24 in Los Angeles, according to a source close to the matchup.
