UFC On Fox 4 Performance Bonuses ($50,000): Fight of the Night: Joe Lauzon vs. Jamie Varner Submission of the Night: Joe Lauzon Knockout of the Night: Mike Swick
Former WEC lightweight champ, Jamie Varner, has joined the AMA Fight Club in New Jersey, to train alongside Jim and Dan Miller, Charlie Brenneman, Rafaello Oliveira, Ricardo Romero, and Amanda Nunes. Head trainer Mike Constantino discussed Varner on the Savage Dog Show: "We basically came to the decision that it’s in the best interest of Jamie to come here full time, and I’m willing to take on Jamie as a manager and a trainer. I think he’s extremely talented. The kid’s 26 years old, only, and you already know what he’s accomplished. By having him full-time training with all my fighters and all our trainers here at AMA and doing everything right, I truly believe that not only could he be back in the UFC shortly, he could go straight to the top and win a championship."

WEC featherweight titleholder Jose Aldo says his recent fights have prepared him for Manny Gamburyan at WEC 51.
Donald Cerrone went too far in talking about his upcoming fight with Jamie Varner, and we believe he crossed a line of decency in doing so," WEC Vice President Peter Dropick said in a public statement. "We will not tolerate a fighter who makes comments that are not consistent with our company values, nor will we tolerate the use of slurs that may offend any segment of the public." "We are aware Donald issued his own immediate apology on Twitter," he said, "but we still needed to speak with him about it and to issue our own statement making our position known." via Sherdog
