Heavyweight knockout artist, Stipe Miocic (6-0), who was ranked #5 on BloodyElbow.com's Heavyweight Scouting Report, has signed a four-fight contract with the UFC. The NAAFS, whose heavyweight title Miocic won earlier this month after making Bobby Brents tap out due to leg kicks, announced the signing last night. No debut date or opponent has been set yet for the Ohio-based fighter who trains with Strong Style Fight Team, but we'll keep you updated when that news breaks.
UFC heavyweight, Mike Russow, is still recovering from the broken arm he suffered in his upset victory over Todd Duffee in May, and he'll be sidelined until at least January, according to MMA Fighting.

According to Guilherme Cruz at Tatame and Brett Okamoto at the Las Vegas Sun, Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will meet in a rematch at UFC 119 this September in Indianapolis.
