Add grappling wizard, Dean Lister, to the list of people who James Toney has allegedly "threatened" with submissions in training: PC: You can plead the fifth on this, but from what I understand, he not only caught Mo in a submission, but he almost pulled something out on you as well. DL:I won't plead the fifth, man. It's actually rewarding when my students start picking up little things that I've been showing them. What happened was, I was trying to pass his guard. He didnt' pull guard or anything like that. I'm not going to say how we got to the ground because I don't want to give anything that he's going to try to do away. We were going over a few things and I passed his guard and I got a mount and he turned and like grabbed my foot. I'm lucky he didn't break it. He was close to breaking it. I think James has to learn not to tweak submissions in training. I mean, I guess he didn't tweak it, but he was really waiting on a tap. But he landed like a toe hold, and I didn't really get to see exactly what he was doing because my back was turned, but he twisted it pretty good. UFC welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre will face off against a fellow Montreal native, when he takes on 270-lb NHL enforcer Georges Laraque of the Montreal Canadiens in a grappling match at the Tristar Gym. The match will air on TSN's Off the Record this Friday. "First we will do a wrestling match, because he believes that he is going to be able to put me down at will, and I believe that I am going to be able to put him down at will," St-Pierre told TSN. "On the ice I would never go against him, he's going to beat me and I agree with that 100 percent, but on the floor I have no problem." HT: MMA Fighting Photo HT: Canada.com
