Cris Cyborg gives a candid statement to MMAprime.tv about her positive Steroid test last December. The former Champion admits to the positive test, but makes it known that she did not knowingly take the steroid. The former champion has removed that member from her training camp and has been submitting to monthly tests for the CSAC ever since the positive test in December. Cris Cyborg apologizes to the CSAC, StrikeForce and her fans as she gives this candid account of the positive test, the fallout in regards to her reputation and what she can do now to help educate other fighters and children about the negative effects of steroid use. video from (MMAprime.tv)

In this very candid interview with MMAprime.tv, the female 145lbs StrikeForce Champion opens up about life as the champion. Cyborg talks about how she managed to stay motivated after a year without fighting, her opponent when she defends the title December 17th, fighting 20 feet away from her home gym and more. The Champion also mentions that she will attempt a move to 135lbs after this fight. Cyborg finds it amusing that people call her out at 145lbs for her title and then move down to 135lbs to avoid the fights. Therefore, in attempt to get more fights in the more abundant 135lbs female division, Cyborg will try to make the cut down in weight.
