When WWE books ridiculous matches, we can blame it on Trips swerving the Internet. Who do we blame when UFC does it?
Our friends at MMA Mania bring us this pic from last night's (March 19, 2013) episode of UFC Tonight on FUEL TV, where they showcased a "Tale of the Tape" between WWE leader Vince McMahon and UFC President Dana White. Yes, this is because of White breaking the news that McMahon wanted to fight him a couple years ago. By the way, Chael Sonnen is on the panel at UFC Tonight and he had plenty to add to his ridiculous Twitter ranting. Still no word on Vince teaming with CM Punk against the team of White and Sonnen, though. Sorry! For more, click here for the video.
So here's Chael Sonnen's totally unsolicited opinion on news coming out recently that WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon wanted to fight UFC President Dana White. Does this make him a mark? Or is that us? Or no one and we should just stop with this whole "mark" thing? Or maybe he's just working us all, as he later added "Reason your guys work in a ring and not an Octagon is because nobody on your roster can count to 8, you DOPE." Then, later "Just because your teeth are fake that don't mean they can't get PUNCHED OUT, y'big mark!?" Thoughts?
Chael Sonnen polarized the MMA landscape after getting a title shot at 205-pound champion Jon Jones. The way he did it, however, showed a lot of future UFC talent how to do the same thing.
Jon Jones vs. Chael Sonnen fight reportedly being targeted for New Jersey on April 27, 2013, according to the folks at MMA Weekly. This would mark the fourth time "Bones" will have fought in the state, the last being his light heavyweight championship win over Mauricio "Shogun" Rua. This would be Sonnen's third trip to the "Garden State."
