Bloody Elbow, for MMA and UFC news

Former K-1 MAX champion Buakaw Por. Pramuk was in action yesterday. The legendary Thai fighter took on the overmatched Abdoul Toure on a Thai Fight show in England. This was Buakaw's first fight back since the legal issues with his former camp that threatened to force him into retirement. Impressive performance from Buakaw here, with an absolutely beautiful finish. The fight itself starts at roughly 10:40 on the video.

Fun trailer here for an upcoming martial arts movie called Yamada: The Samurai of Ayothaya. It's a film out of Thailand that looks to be wrapping up currently and should be available soon. So, why do you care? Because it features a mustached Buakaw Por. Pramuk doing all sorts of Muay Thai. Other prominent Muay Thai names like Yodsaenklai also are involved (and sporting mustaches as well) though it appears Buakaw has the most prominent role. A more recent trailer is also making the rounds, though for some reason it was pulled off YouTube. Hopefully it will be back up soon so we can see some Buakaw action!

Sato vs. Buakaw @ K-1 2008. Fantastic grit demonstrated by Sato to withstand Buakaw's head hunting in the second only to use a more diverse striking arsenal in the third to get Buakaw to drop his hands. Impressive.
