Bad news for Art Jimmerson, Dan Severn and old-school MMA fans everywhere. Royce Gracie, despite claiming he was in negotiations to return to the Octagon at UFC Rio on August 27, will NOT be on the card when the promotion returns to Brazil, according to President Dana White (via MMAFighting.com). Gracie recently hinted at wanting a rematch against Matt Hughes but White has "no intentions on offering him a fight."
